Cost Per Action (CPA)

Cost Per Action (CPA), also known as Cost Per Acquisition, is a digital metric that calculates the cost of user action that leads to the desired conversion. Conversions include downloads, registrations, signups, and payments. This conversion method can be more cost-effective than other methods because you only pay the leads or sales you get.

In other words...

Paying to play arcade games one quarter at a time.
